Graduates of the four-year nursing program (BSN) at the University of Southern Indiana have achieved a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX-RN exam in the following academic years: 2003, 2004, 2006, and 2007. The baccalaureate nursing program offered by this university is accredited by the Indiana State Board of Nursing and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

In order to graduate and sit for the NCLEX-RN examination nursing students had to complete a total of 128 credit hours of combined classroom and clinical practice. Students planning to enroll in the bachelor degree nursing program need to make sure they are eligible for licensure as required by the Indiana Board of Nursing. As with other nursing programs, admission is limited to those students who meet certain criteria specified by the university. The tuition cost to complete this program based on the 128 required credits is approximately $22,000, not including books, uniforms, other fees and supplies.
