Are you ready to take the next step in your career as a nurse and obtain a graduate nursing degree? Ball State University welcomes any registered nurses who want to become advanced professionals by completing one of the master degree programs offered by the School of Nursing. To make things easier for students who need to keep their registered nurse jobs, the master program can be completed entirely online. You have three choices to choose from in terms of nursing specialization: education or administration, nurse practitioner, and clinical nurse specialist. This nursing program can be completed either full-time or part-time, and you are encouraged to choose clinical sites close to where you live or work. The online master degree nursing program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and must be completed within six years from your admission date. In 2007 BSN graduates from the Ball State University Nursing School have achieved a NCLEX-RN pass rate of 98.25 percent.
